First Trailer for Jason Statham’s Film Shelter

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for the action film Shelter, starring Jason Statham, has been released. The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, known for Greenland.
The story follows a reclusive man living on a remote island who rescues a young girl from a deadly storm, but their fight for survival and redemption puts both of their lives in danger. The man must abandon his isolation and confront his past in order to protect the girl.
Bodhi Rhi Bertinche, who recently appeared in Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet, along with Naomi Ackie and Oscar-nominated Bill Nighy (Living), also star in the film.
Statham will appear in another film in 2026 titled Mutiny, directed by Jean-François Richet (Plane). He was seen last year in A Working Man and is set to return for The Beekeeper 2.
Black Bear will release Shelter on January 30. On that date, Sam Raimi’s Send Help and Gore Verbinski’s Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, starring Sam Rockwell, will also open in theaters.
